Sustainability Consultancy | Commissioning Authority – Design & Construction Stage
Project Summary
The Jeddah Opera House is a prestigious national cultural landmark situated on Jeddah’s Red Sea waterfront, comprising three world-class performance venues: a 1,500-seat Lyric Theatre for opera and music, a 700-seat Mid-Scale Theatre for spoken word and acoustic performances, and a 180-person flexible Rehearsal Room.
As both Sustainability Consultant and Commissioning Authority, Conserve delivered an integrated dual-role service spanning Design and Construction stages for LEED v4 BD+C and MOSTADAM D+C Gold certification.
Our scope encompassed the full credit documentation including energy performance modelling, water efficiency strategies, indoor environment quality planning, and sustainable materials management, alongside comprehensive MEP system and envelope commissioning oversight to verify that all building systems were designed, installed, and operated to meet performance targets.
Monthly progress reporting and stakeholder coordination ensured continuous alignment across all design disciplines and construction teams throughout the delivery of the project.
